O'LENO OLE' CHILI COOK-OFF & SPRINGS CELEBRATION
O'Leno State Park
Date: Saturday, March 23, 2013. Chili Cook - Off - 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Springs Celebration - 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Description:
Bring your favorite chili recipe and compete with the best during this CASI sanctioned chili cook-off. You do not have to be a member to participate. There will be prizes for 1st – 10th place in the cook-off; and 1st – 3rd place for the Showmanship. CASI rules can be found at Chili Appreciation Society International, or you can compete in the Open category where anything goes! Prizes for 1st – 5th place winners in the Open category. Contestants must be 18 years or older. Purchase a sample kit for $5.00 and vote for the “Peoples' Choice” Award. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m., or pre-register by going to
O'Leno ‘Ole Chili Cook-off Registration.

Cash awards will be given in the Open Category –
1^st place - $75.00, 2^nd place - $50.00, and 3^rd place $25.00, and $100.00 for the overall Peoples' Choice Award.
And join us for the Springs Celebration while enjoying the chili! Highlights will include live music, dance troupes, videos, slide shows, guided walks, interactive water education displays and children's activities. This event is designed to teach the importance of Florida's springs.
Fees: Chili Cook - Off Registration Fee: $20.00 per team for either category or both for $35.00. Park admission fee: One can of food per person to be donated to a local food bank.

Northbound -- O'Leno is located on US 441, 8 miles north of High Springs.
Southbound -- O'Leno is located 8 miles south of I-75 at Exit 414 (Ellisville) on US 441.
